Where training provided by others is listed you should note that the training is not endorsed by BCVS, we have simply been asked to let people know about it. People considering booking a training course should make their own enquiries to ascertain whether or not it meets their needs.

Every business matters - Free training

NAVCA is offering 15 free places for a business skills training and information day to use with groups and organisations working with children, young people and families.  NAVCA have said they can tailor the day to suit frontline organisations.

Who is the course for?


This course is for voluntary/community groups and charities working in

Bournemouth or Poole.

It is aimed at committee members/trustees and managerswith personnel

responsibilities, who want to improve their knowledge and develop

sound Employment Policies and Procedure.

Spare places may be available to othervoluntary/community groups

and statutory staff at a higher rate.

The trainer for all courses is Linda Naylor, the cost for full day’s session is £50 per head and lunch is provided.

The cost of the half day session is £25.

To help you use the CAF as effectively as possible, it is recommended that the CAF training is undertaken before the Assessment Skills & Lead Professional training.
