Voluntary Sector Forum

The aim of the Forum is to promote the effective involvement of the voluntary and community sector in the planning, development and delivery of services in Bournemouth.

It will achieve this aim by:

Providing opportunities for the voluntary sector to discuss matters of shared interest, form working alliances and share information relating to local, regional and national developments.
Supporting voluntary sector representatives directly involved in planning and policy making processes.

The Voluntary Sector Forum meets regularly. For details of meetings, further information or to sign up to our mailing list please telephone 01202 466130 or email ruth.shearn@bournemouthcvs.org.uk

The Voluntary Sector Forum is supported by the Voluntary Sector e Forum which is also used to share information from the Voluntary Sector Representatives who sit on various boards and committees across Bournemouth.

The Vision Board

The Vision 2026 Board is responsible for setting the vision and strategy for the 2026 partnership. The Vision 2026 Board is made up of representatives from each section of the partnership, and consults widely on the collated vision and identifies gaps in the allocated responsibilities and crosscutting issues of forums.

The Vision 2026 Board also establishes and monitors the arrangements to act on any issues in the Sustainable Community Strategy and Local Area Agreement and ensures that the Investing in Communities Delivery Board manages those arrangements.
