Location : The Mayfair Hotel, Bath Road, Bournemouth
Type of Event : Fundraising

Friends of Bournemouth Leukaemia Fund regularly arrange events to support the lifesaving work carried out by doctors and scientists working for Bournemouth Leukaemia Fund. The registered charity was founded in 1984 and since then has regularly won international awards for its research as well as helping cancer patients at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital achieve better outcomes. The charity can now help all cancer patients, not only those with leukaemia and other blood disorders due to a donation by the Friend Committee in 2015 which resulted in the acquisition of a Next Generation Sequencer, a state of the art piece of equipment not available on the National Health Service locally and indeed the salaries, other equipment and maintenance of the Research Laboratory is not funded by the NHS. Please help this so worthwhile local charity. It does not have any paid fundraisers.
